The work of Thane-Diva 5th and 6th railway line work of Central Railway (thane-diva 5th and 6th railway line work) is in the final stage and the work of erection of girder of railway bridge on Mumbra bypass line will be done in two days. Therefore, Mumbra Bypass will remain closed for 24 hours on Sunday 7th March 2021 and Sunday 21st March 2021. Therefore, all traffic on this route will be diverted to alternative routes.
Vehicles going to Nashik, Bhiwandi and Thane Rural via Mumbra Bypass from JNPT It will be possible to reach Bhiwandi via Kalamboli Circle, Nhavade Fata, Taloje, MIDC, Usatne, Khoni, Newali, Kalyan via Durgadi. So Vehicles going to Nashik Aadharwadi, Bampgaon, Padgha Naka to Mumbai on Nashik-Nashik Highway.
So Kalyanphata to go from Thane, From Shilphata, Mahape, Rabale, Airoli, Mulund Tolanaka, Anandnagar Tolanaka, Ghodbunder Road can be reached via Majiwada. So Vehicles coming from Palghar, Gujarat via Ghodbunder From Ghodbunder Road to Navi Mumbai via Airoli. Vehicles coming from Nashik will also be diverted to Navi Mumbai via Kalyan.
So Vehicles traveling from Mumbra city towards Thane-Mumbai Mumbra Y Junction, Shilphata, turn right and reach Mumbai via Mahape Road, Rabale, Airoli. There will also be an alternative route to Thane via Diva, Vitawa, Kalwa creek bridge.
Work on Thane to Diva 5th and 6th line, which has been going on for the last 8 to 10 years, is being carried out through Mumbai Railway Development Corporation (MRVC). Construction of an iron railway bridge is underway on National Highway No. 48, i.e. Mumbra Bypass Road, to connect the railway line from Mumbra Tunnel to the elevated railway line at Bay. The connection of this bridge will take two days. As the work will continue from midnight on Saturday to midnight on Sunday, the route will be closed to traffic for 24 hours on March 7 and March 21 (Mumbra Bypass To Remain Closed On 7 And 21 March), traffic police said.
